Achievements/ Awards
Arshad Ali embarked on his journey into the world of Islamic arts and Quranic calligraphy in 2004. His dedication and skill soon began to shine, as he gathered accolades and recognition across Pakistan. Arshad’s first major win came in 2006 when he earned the top spot at the Annual Art Exhibition in Faisalabad. This victory was just the beginning.
In 2009, a special year for Arshad, he not only won the prestigious 7th All Punjab Calligraphy Competition but also took home the Best Set Design Award from a national competition in Faisalabad. His artwork continued to captivate many, leading him to secure more wins and his pieces graced exhibitions both at the provincial and national levels.
Arshad's talent also caught the eye of the National Bank of Pakistan, which featured his work in their international magazine, Newsline, in September 2014, praising his outstanding paintings. His art also made it to the television screens, with PTV and other major media outlets showcasing documentaries and reports on his beautiful creations.
In 2010, his hard work and contributions to the arts were recognized at the highest level. Nominated for a National Award, and upon the recommendation of a selection committee formed by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Prime Minister of Pakistan honored him with the National Youth Award.
Arshad Ali’s journey in the art of calligraphy is a testament to his passion and the cultural richness of Pakistan.
